Not software · A roadmap for AI decisions

Don’t start with AI. Start with the business problem.

CAMPS AI Leadership Roadmap

A six-stage self-study guide for deciding which AI projects are worth buying — and which are just another pilot.

Use the spreadsheets, reports, and huddle questions you already have. About 3–6 hours in the first 30 days.

Why this first

Reverse the order. Skip the demo.

Most AI shows up in reports. Yours should show up in the numbers — after you name the constraint.

The expensive way

  • Buy a platform
  • Launch a pilot
  • Hunt for a problem
  • Months in pilot purgatory — with no clear line to the P&L

The Roadmap

  • Name the constraint
  • Prove value on data you already have
  • Buy technology only after the case is clear
  • Three opportunities on the worksheet — then decide

Why are jobs late?

Where are we losing labor hours?

Why did scrap jump?

Can we promise this order?

Start there. Not with AI.

The guide — six stages, not a product demo

The system

Six stages. One disciplined path.

Self-study your plant team can run on data you already trust. Technology comes later — when the value case is clear.

  1. 1

    Define value

Tie the constraint to the worksheet.

If it does not move a lever, stop.

  2. 2

    Readiness

Who owns it, what the floor can absorb.

You can name what “done” looks like.

  3. 3

    Data to insight

Use spreadsheets and reports you already have.

    No warehouse required to start.

  4. 4

    Visibility

    One picture of the constraint.

    Office and huddle, same numbers.

  5. 5

    Insight to action

    Pursue, pause, or buy.

Software only after the case is clear.

  6. 6

    Improvement

    Keep the worksheet.

Do not let the next demo reset the sequence.

30-day outcome: three P&L-linked opportunities. Members: if you don’t get there, we’ll walk through it with you. Non-members: 100% back on the $995 purchase. This is a guide, not a software subscription.

How you start

Monday morning simple

About 3–6 hours across the first 30 days. No product to install. No data warehouse required.

1

Pick one constraint

Use a huddle question. Thirty minutes is enough to choose.

2

Pull numbers you already have

Schedules, scrap logs, labor hours, the reports you already trust.

3

Score it on the four levers

If it does not move flow, labor, quality, or decisions — it is not a project.

CAMPS provides the structure. Implementation partners come later — only if the case is clear. This is not software, not an AI tool, and not a systems-integration engagement.

Access

A member benefit. Open to non-members at $995.

Questions leaders ask

Straight answers

How much time does this take in the first 30 days?+

Plan on about 3–6 hours across the first 30 days. That covers picking a constraint, pulling numbers you already have, and scoring it on the four levers. It is self-study — you set the pace.

Who from the plant needs to be involved?+

An owner, GM, or operations leader who can name the constraint, plus one person who lives the numbers on the floor. You do not need IT to start.

What if our data is messy?+

Start anyway. The Roadmap uses the spreadsheets, reports, and huddle questions you already trust. You do not need a warehouse or a clean system of record to begin.

What happens if we don’t find three opportunities?+

Members: work the Roadmap; if you do not identify three value projects in 30 days, we’ll walk through it with you. Non-members who purchase: find three P&L-linked opportunities in 30 days, or receive 100% of the $995 back.

What happens after I submit the form?+

Kirk and Stacie receive the request. We verify membership (or set up the $995 purchase) and email you within 24 hours. Members get a link to the guide after roster confirmation.

How is this different from buying a vendor tool or joining a 90-day pilot?+

This is a self-study decision guide, not software and not a facilitated cohort. You run it on your plant’s numbers. CAMPS has a separate 90-day pilot when a cohort is seating. Vendors come after the value case is clear — not before.
